In the Round Robin tournament, teams accumulate points through various means, not just by winning. Points are also awarded for each end won, every rock scored, and more.
These points play a crucial role in determining the playoff bracket your team will be seeded into. After playing three round-robin games, your team’s total points are compared with all other teams. Teams are then ranked according to their point totals.
Here’s the breakdown of how points are awarded:
To enter the scores, simply scan the QR code on the score sheet found at the home end of your ice. This will direct you to a score entry screen. For best results, turn your phone sideways to landscape mode to enter the data.
It’s important to note who had the last rock advantage (also known as the hammer) in the first end, and to record the result of each end.
Please be aware that once your score is submitted, it cannot be changed by you. If you’ve made an error, please contact the tournament organizers to correct it.
A two-minute video on how to submit the scorecard can be found here https://youtu.be/Q-ht3bNQ8E8. A screenshot of the score entry system is below.
