Name That Tune – Phone Interface Instructions

1. Loading the Interface:
• Use your phone’s camera to scan the provided QR code.
2. Registering Your Name:
• Input your name to register. It must be unique.
• If another player has the same name, add your last initial or modify it to ensure uniqueness.
• After submitting, if your name appears on the phone's screen, registration is successful.
• If you receive an error, the name is taken, and you’ll need to try a different one.

3. Activating Wake Lock:
• Locate the “Wake Lock” button at the bottom of the screen.
• Toggle it to “On” to prevent the phone's screen lock from activating and disrupting the server connection.
• A purple border will appear around the screen to indicate that Wake Lock is active.

4. Reconnecting to the Game:
• If disconnected, you must enter a name again upon reconnection.
• Your original name will be unavailable unless you get the Name That Tune Host to remove it from the server.
• Avoid navigating away from the interface, letting your phone sleep, etc., to prevent disconnection.
5. Playing the Game:
• When a song clip plays, you can buzz in once to guess.
• You cannot buzz in again for the same clip.
• The option to buzz in will be available again when the next song clip starts.
6. Hints:
• Song clips may include one or two hints.
• Hints appear briefly below the Buzz button.
